I have recently joined several groups that are discussing the FOURTH WAY, MR. GURDJIEFF, MR, OUSPENKY, and many others...I have posted a number of comments that have garnered interesting and most informative responses, comments, and suggestions, all of which I deeply appreciate, although perhaps some of my comments are a bit 'abrasive' and 'wiseacreing' etc. and occasionally not right on the topic but a sort of meandering of mine, a tendency that many do not tolerate or 'suffer'. Nevertheless, I plan to discuss and comment on certain aspects of THE FOURTH WAY when and if I have time to do so...and perhaps take up items that some do not pay much attention to or discuss or think about....let alone comment upon. Mr. Gurdjieff has made a great influence on many persons, groups, and areas that are not always acknowledged, credited, accepted, or understood and that is to be expected in the contemporary world as it continues to exist and perhaps 'evolve' or is destroyed unless certain things are done by mankind.
The consequences of our actions and sometimes of our beliefs and prejudices are numerous and in our basic 'ignorance' of the laws that Mr. Gurdjieff expounded upon and taught to others, we have yet to understand or employ and so my blog is a very meager attempt to bring some of these things to their attention.
Those who consider themselves in the FOURTH WAY are sometimes mistaken in thinking and assuming they really are, but still we have to start somewhere, from where we are, however limited we are or however ignorant and prejudices we may be, and begin to make an effort to achieve AN AIM
and to also: ' REMEMBER OURSELVES ALWAYS AND EVERYWHERE."

I have been reading and re-reading a number of books that I have on THE FOURTH WAY that various authors have written and published,especially those who were close to MR. GURDJIEFF and shared his travels from RUSSIA to the the WEST. I do not have all the books that I should like for this purpose but perhaps will sometime find them or obtain them to 'round out' my perspectives and limited understandings,etc. Lately, I have had, for the past year or so, a number dreams, some intense and colorful, others the usual situations and persons and environments, but nearly everything jumbled up in the way dreams flow or emerge when one sleeps. I often awake and think of certain topics and ideas, concepts, and 'doings' and other things for lengthy periods, usually early in the morning, from 2:00 am to when I eventually arise, and sometimes do some special exercises to aid circulation and other aspects of the body.....Sometimes, I am able to write down things while at other times, I do not and then can't remember with the specific feelings and thoughts I originally had and so come up with distorted and often senseless statements,some a bit 'extreme' or 'mediocre',that is, far from the 'precious revelations' I originally had or received or whatever you care to call this process that sometimes awakens me at these early hours. I seldom try to 'analyze' my dreams beyond some things that appear obvious to me, such as, people and incidents in my life and work and the like or travels,etc. All of which that emerge do so in certain standard tracks of images and events that only dreams can reveal. I mention this to begin working more on my blogs than I have previously and the reasons for this may well become apparent to me and possibly to anyone else who reads this, if ever.
