The 'unification of 'male' & 'female' can be understood in many ways.....from the merely biological to the metaphorical...from the occult to the metaphysical,etc.....none of which really answer to anyone's complete satisfactions why they are either male or female or why some experience aspects of the other to their dismay, chagrin, horror, delight, or confusion...that is, a sort of 'third' sex..variously described in street, slang, and derogatory terms or masked or code words to indicate their 'sexual' choices or options...which have some consequences for society,culture, religion and politics or governments as well as military....no reasonable or intelligent understanding has yet to be reached by the majority of ordinary mankind......
ReplyDeleteThe notion that 'masculinity' and 'feminitiy' should be 'transcended' or 'transformed' in various ways is an ancient theme, found in religions,such as,Christianity, namely the 'PAULINE DOCTRINES' and in occultism as 'RACE REGENERATION','SEX MAGIC',etc. and in the UNISEX ADVOCATES of various kinds......However,in the writings of G.I. GURDJIEFF, he makes it known that men should be men and women should be women....for various reasons few understand or follow.....which from 'an esoteric' sense have great importance, rather than mere sexual activity(ies) as known and described by sexologists from Kraft-Ebbing, Freud, Ellis, and others...many of them often considered as 'perverts','lunatics', and the like...
